Creation of innovative technology of symbolic language recognition in virtual reality and augmented reality environment

Spectral Games Spółka Akcyjna carries out the project:

“Creation of innovative technology of symbolic language recognition in virtual reality and augmented reality environment, and its implementation in an exemplary game”.

Primary aim of the project is to create an innovative technology of symbolic language recognition in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) environment dedicated for the most recent VR and AR devices. Aforementioned symbolic language, based on innovative system analyzing executed by a player 3d symbols in a real world, will enable the creation of innovative user interface systems and innovative gameplay systems. This effect will be achieved with use of a finite set of 3d sub-symbols belonging to 3d symbolic language, of which it will be possible to create more complex sequences of symbols and development of high efficiency 3d symbol recognition algorythm.

 

 TARGET RESULT OF THE PROJECT

High-tech video game will be developed, which one of the main strengths and innovative element attracting potential customers / players will be a completely new type of user interface used for communication between the player and the device equipped with VR / AR technology, controllers and language based on complex  3D symbols.

This language will consist of a finite set of 3D sub-symbols, enabling “teaching the system” and the ability to design new 3D symbols, which will be automatically recognized, based on the available sub-symbol characters. An additional, but logical consequence of the elimination of the “traditional” user interfaces (keyboard, touch screen, mouse) and its transfer into virtual reality will be simultaneous development of a parallel communication module operating using an auto completion dictionary using 3D symbols “typed” in the virtual space as input.
